A private function room with multiple uses. This private room can be used for small private functions, conferences and workshops. It can seat up to 34 people as a private dining room and up to 20 people for a workshop or conference.
This large banquet hall was originally part of the St Isidore dairy. It’s light and spacious with a row of yellow wood posts down the centre of it. It can seat up to 100 people at tables. It can be used as an indoor expo centre, market space, an indoor concert and a meeting space.
The St Isidore Mill Conference centre is traditionally used as a conference centre with the lounge as an adjoining breakaway room. We also use the conference lounge for small weddings. The old Baltic pine beams and yellow wood floors make it a unique space for an intimate wedding or buffet style functions. During retreats and workshops when all of the accommodation at Kings Grant is booked for your event, the lounge is used exclusively as the communal lounge and ‘meet space’ for your group.
Weather permitting; this area of the courtyard can be used for your own private function. It adjoins our wood-fire pizza oven and braai area and is ideal for a casual alfresco-style late afternoon or early evening function. (with good weather)
The St Isidore Chapel can be hired for small weddings, renewal of vowels, small memorials or a spiritual meeting/talk space. The seating capacity at the chapel is 46 people.
Make the most of our extensive indigenous gardens and dine under the acacia trees or alongside the stream, weather permitting. This is also where we are able to host children’s birthday parties.
The Brickfield is a secluded historical and rustic building that was once used to fire all the red bricks for the farm and the buildings in the district. This venue is offsite from Kings Grant, approximately 500 metres from Kings Grant on private land. It has 2 toilets onsite and no electricity. A small generator can be hired for your event if necessary. This venue is ideal as a picnic venue, a casual banquet style function, a wedding ceremony or a unique space for a yoga venue.
